Using 35 offshore wind farms we have carried out one of the largest validation studies undertaken to date.

Validation methodology
We have used public measurements and operational data for offshore farms in Northern Europe and measured the yield deviations between our tool (with no additional mast data) and actuals.
Comparisons for iover 35 northern European offshore wind farms show a Gaussian distribution of errors.
Mastless results indicate that the standard deviation is comparable to typical pre-construction offshore uncertainties.
The US offshore is our next target validation market.
